“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.“ 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4
It’s conjectured by most prophecy watchers when outlining Daniels 70 weeks prophecy, that 69 of those weeks (or 483 years) were fulfilled at the cross, leaving only the final 70th week (7 years or 2520 days) to complete the 490 years determined for which a future ‘week’ of years is waiting only for some unknowable moment before it can rapidly proceed to its conclusion. Waiting as if the interval in between somehow has been stopped or halted in some ambiguous manner, and so today we have 2000 years passed by with this accounting of time being ‘paused’ or stopped on the prophetic time clock. From my earliest understandings I’ve found this idea to be incorrect.
After numbering the days and considering the times and seasons and counting the intervals between significant biblical events, I (to my own satisfaction) perceive a structure as evidence to conjecture that it did not stop, the biblical accounting for time never ceased, instead it changed, as wheels within wheels, shifting from one accounting to the other, being first from the flesh where Israel chose to reject their promised Messiah, then seamlessly shifting to the spirit where the Church resides today (and forever) and where “a thousand years [is] as one day” and where it is as Peter quotes from Psalm 90:
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8
Further that we should “number our days” as Psalm 90 tells us for understanding and then what may come to our understandings as God promises to do nothing unless he has revealed it in advance, just as we have the mysteries Jesus revealed to us in the parables,
“I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.” Psalm 49:4
“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.” Matthew 13:35
If it should be as conjectured here, that instead of seven years remaining of the 490 years determined, that Israel instead has fifty-six years remaining from the cross to complete the seventy-sevens, meaning that we don’t have merely a short time frame ( 7 years or 2520 days) to come upon us suddenly, instead we have an entire generation to see prophesies and events coming (as foretold) to reach their full, and as we’re told we would see that day approaching, just as Israel should have seen that day coming as they were given (from Daniel Chapter 9) the very day to watch for the coming of their promised Messiah, their Prince, and they should have known and even later counting to what followed to 70 AD when the end did come for Israel, it came upon the fulness of that same generation that legally rejected the Messiah in 32 AD. And therefore at the time of the end, the final week will come, and it is now for the world instead of Israel alone, the transgressors have now come to their full, the Gentiles have enjoyed the authority surrendered to Satan and it will soon be time to witness that same usurped authority, this world system, deceived and in error as to the fullness of their own authority and withstanding the restoration by God of the transgressors now having been brought in both times like a flood, when this world, because of this action, will then face its judgement and it will be the final work before the restitution of all things,
From Gods perspective he tells us that for those appointed to him, its now time for the harvest,
In Revelation Chapter 7 when the Angels hold the wind from the four corners, north, south, east and west, it’s as the winnowing of the wheat harvest, they are holding until the 144,000 are sealed and ready to begin their work, the same way in which wheat was put on a sheet and tossed up into the wind to separate it from the chaff,
The remnant will understand and begin their work on the Earth with the 144,000 sealed out of every tribe, first the barley harvest (first fruits), then the wheat harvest and last the grape harvest at the end with the blood being splattered to the horses bridle for 1600 furlongs, roughly the distance from Megiddo to the sheepfold in Edom, Bozrah,
“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.” Isaiah 63:1
Where is the Church? Paul tells us that we meet the lord in the air, I conjecture this is simply because Jesus still has no physical authority on the Earth just yet, being rejected and sitting today at the right hand of the Father, the Vineyard, the Earth having been stolen from him, which tells us something about the timing of this event, it occurs prior to (or coincides with) the opening of the seven sealed book in Revelation Chapters 4, 5 and 6, but as being adjudicated by the court (24 elders) sitting in Heaven, acknowledging his claimant right of the near kinsman redeemer Jubilee and now having a fully established legal authority over all of the physical creation as earlier had been provided to Adam,
“Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’S anger come upon you.” Zephaniah 2:2
“I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Psalm 2:7-8
Time went from the flesh, as an accounting for Israel, to the spirit, the Church, where it flows in Gods order of the ages very differently that is does for us on the Earth, we are like the grass,
“For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” 1 Peter 1:24-25
Our perspective is very limited, very small in the greater accountability that God has before all that live or whoever will live on the Earth,
Considering the ‘times and seasons’ requires more than a casual interest, and while the sacrifice on the cross is open to be understood by all for which any can be brought in if the spirit draws them in, the thief on the cross showed us just how quickly and easily his grace can be found, and yet because it is readily available it’s too often set aside for a more convenient moment, or dismissed for another day or a better time or worse still, mistook as being served with the religions of vain men preaching onerous guilt burdens, there is nothing you can do to add to the salvation by grace, because it is his grace, not yours,
