Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain

I believe there is a linkage with Revelation Chapter 11, with the measuring of the outer court of the Temple and with Zechariah Chapter 2, where God will be a wall of fire round about and the building of the Temple and of God laying a line over the entire city of Jerusalem, and also to Leviticus Chapter 25 and walled cities, where if encumbered by agreement did not go out in the Jubilee release, and then finally with Satan ultimately being cast out of Heaven in Revelation Chapter 12, which is the start of the ‘Great Tribulation.’

“Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.”  Zechariah 1:16

“I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.”  Zechariah 2:1-5

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner. And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.”  Jeremiah 31:38-39

It has to do with a future Jubilee being reached and then with this world’s (Satan’s) attempt to break that covenant by dividing Israel and Jerusalem as they have been restored since 1948 (Israel) and 1967 (Jerusalem), being the two conditions required to count the seventy sevens (upon Israel, not the Church) per Daniel Chapter 9.

Further it has to do with the court being in session in Daniel Chapter 7, and the title deed to the Earth and the fullness of time being reached as we’re shown in Revelation Chapters 4, 5 and 6, the Elders are the heavenly Sanhedrin, they are the ‘Court (that) will sit.’

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.”  Daniel 7:9

“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”  Revelation 4:10-11

Satan is attempting to legally claim ownership over the Earth by encumbering the restoration coming at the time of the end with the fulness of the Gentiles as witnessed by Israels restoration, and to do this by breaking the “Everlasting Covenant” via a deceitful agreement, by either dividing Jerusalem and Judea or placing a wall around it or both, which could allow an ordinal mechanism for him to claim legal ownership. In Leviticus Chapter 25, walled cities did not go out with the Jubilee release. Do an online search for “Israel and the wall” and see for your self. It first occurred in 445 BC and the 70 weeks count from Daniel Chapter 9 began and counted all the way to completing 62 weeks (not 69 weeks though it was after 69 weeks when Messiah was crucified in 32 AD, but of the 490 year count it was at 62 weeks or 434 years completed, the 49 years were the Jubilee of righteousness that he provided of himself to as many as would receive it, the Gospel of truth and life and hope and grace, just as he read from Isaiah Chapter 61 and claimed it as being acceptable, it could not be undone by man, but to Israel it could be rejected, for which is was) and it, this same timing, is repeating today but on a much larger scale to a much greater end,

This action with the measuring line then is God once again being far ahead of Satan by making all of Jerusalem a part of the Holy Mount, hence when the court goes into session, Satan will find his scheme was anticipated and accounted for 2500 years in advance, then Satan, as we’re shown in Revelation Chapter 12, being thrown out of Heaven,  no longer having any reason or legal standing to accuse the brethren or claim anything of the covenant over his Earthly authority or over the ‘Earth dwellers’ as their called in the Book of Revelation, but he has somehow encumbered Jerusalem for 1260 days and he will be given his due, as he is now cast to the Earth knowing exactly how short a time he has, but the (now believing) Jewish remnant of Israel will also know the truth and will call for the Messiah to return, they will seek him earnestly and this is why Satan must seek their destruction without delay, having his full attention and desperate wrath poured out like a flood,

” . .and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.” Daniel 9:26

“And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Revelation 12:15

“I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.”  Hosea 5:15

After two days,

“After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”  Hosea 6:2

“Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!”  Isaiah 64:1-2

Also, as a non-biblical reference, refer to the details of the Temple Scroll discovered in Cave 11 at Qumran, where there is a Temple described with a court that would require the entire city of Jerusalem to be covered by the outer court and also for the entire valley before the Temple between the Mount of Olives and the Temple to be filled in, that is, to be built as described would require millions of tons of rock/dirt/rubble and construction to extend the mount as described. Now notice Zechariah 14, where Messiah splits the mount apart as his foot touches down at his bodily return to the Earth, what is really happening here and why? I conjecture, with the plumb line he is in effect extending the mountain to a plain where it could be built as described?

It also has a tower next to the Temple, just like the vineyard in Isaiah Chapter 5.

Consider:

“This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.”

Zechariah 4:6-9

“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle;

and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.  Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east,

and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.”

Zechariah 14:1-5
